Circular Footpath Network

Stanford in the Vale Parish Council has a long held desire to create a strategic network of rural footpaths that would encompass the village. Whilst it is unlikely that we would be able to secure such a route through land acquisition(s), we are actively working with landowners & their agents, seeking ways to deliver any additional segments as the opportunity permits. Where such agreements are linked to new development, there may well be a delay (in some cases for several years) before the new footpath segment is available for public use. We would therefore urge you to respect the existing footpath network, keeping your pet on a lead and clearing up after them and appreciate that there is no public access to aspirational segments until such time as we advise otherwise.
