Clerk asked Councillors not to pass every enquiry to him especially if it did not concern the Parish Council. A recent case regarding Cleanaway had resulted in several hours of wasted time when the complainant could have been advised to contact the District Council direct who were dealing with the problem anyway.
· Chairman direct Councillors to his annual report which the Clerk distributed. He added that due to our low precept Stanford parishioners paid less than the majority of Oxfordshire communities.
·
He reported that he had suggested Mrs Greenwood,
Mrs Varney and Mrs Bungay for BBC Community awards and
was pleased to report that all had received certificates for their work withinthe village to the benefit of others.
· The PPC had replied regarding the request for payments to Clerk and Wentworth Estate for work and expenses in reworking and producing accounts . This had been refused, further action via legal advice to be taken
· There is disappointment in the loss of the street cleaning grant from the District Council, in future the cost of cleaning the village streets will have to be borne by the Parish. This item to the newsletter

The accounts did not have to be placed on public display until Oct/Nov and therefore asked that Council wait until further work had been carried out
